<p>Her photographs, for sale and for gallery and museum exhibitions, were taken in Auschwitz-Birkenau; contemporary Appalachia and the Rust Belt (rural West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania); street art and graffiti on New York City in the 1980's; street photography in the 1970's and 1980's, in Switzerland, Normandy, San Francisco, Italian Riviera, Venice, New York City, WTC, the Palio in Siena; New Orleans Lower Ninth Ward after hurricane Katrina; and Christo's Gates in Central Park.</p>
<p>Tell's black-and-white, B&W, photos are taken with Tri-X film in Leica cameras. Her color photographs are archival pigment prints.</p>
